A little about me

At 16 I began working at nightclubs & bars across London as a weekend job.  Every Saturday I would change projector slides. This was circa 2007, when clubs Neighbourhood (in Ladbroke grove), Roadhouse (in covent garden)  and Cherry Jam (in Westbourne Park) were still going strong.

I’d service the projectors, changing the bulbs when needed before looking through a big bag of 35mm slides, typically full of retro “funky” content. Whilst 10ft up a ladder, I would carefully decide which slides I thought best visually complimented the space. I’d obsess over picking the right slides and ensure the projectors were positioned correctly for the best visual impact. There could be as many 30 projectors in one club.

I carried on working in this vain whilst studying photography, fine art, graphic design and architecture.

Three years later I joined Pilot Technologies, A creative agency specialising in live show design, becoming a member of the then small yet passionate team of three. My role in the company jumped between creating and operating show files, designing and working on new creative concepts and testing and feeding back on the development of Pilot’s bespoke beta software that’s been pushing the boundaries of what a creative platform in its field can achieve.

I spent 7  years touring extensively with DJ/Artist David Guetta and his production team, creating and operating the content for his live shows alongside Pilots team of visual and software driven creatives. I since have taken on a new role, setting up various cameras and mixing them live at his concerts.

I’ve experienced the thrill of being part of the production of hundreds of shows worldwide, and have faced the challenges this can bring; back to back shows in different countries working with different local production teams at each venue.

I am now looking to broaden my technical skill set, whilst exploring other creative avenues in the form of interesting projects with passionate people.
